Rethink Relief

Dear all,
I want to share with you a really exciting and innovative initiative called Rethink Relief.
It's a five-day workshop dedicated to rethink the role of technology addressing the gap between short-term relief and long-term sustainable development. Events like this have proven to be a great start for innovative and well grounded projects!
It will bring together people with a wide range of interests and backgrounds: relief workers, product designers, current and past residents of relief camps, engineers, teachers and students (and more) and together we will rethink, design and create prototypes about ways to improve current relief systems in a way that eases the transition to a steady and healthy livelihood.

Rethink Relief is co-hosted by D-Lab at MIT and the Industrial Design Engineering Faculty from Delft University of Technology.
The workshop will run from 24 - 28 October and the registration fee is 250 euros. Applications are due by 9 September.

You can find the application form and learn more about the workshop at the website: www.rethinkrelief.com
We look forward to seeing you there! It's going to be awesome!!!

Please help us spread the word about the initiative and forward this email amongst your friends and colleagues you believe could be interested in being involved.

Best regards,
Ana Laura on behalf of the Rethink Relief team.
