Dutch Design Week

ABOUT DDW

Each year in October Dutch Design Week is held in Eindhoven. Dutch Design Week is a professional organization that, supported by the Eindhoven Design community, seeks to develop a stimulating and dynamic design climate in all cultural, social and economic domains in the region of Eindhoven. To that end, DDW organizes events, conferences, lectures and workshops based on three major dimensions: cultural stimulation, social cohesion and economic enhancement.
The objective is to further improve the cultural, economic and professional climate of design in the Eindhoven region and to position Eindhoven nationally and internationally as Design Capital.

DDW seeks to join forces in order to turn Dutch Design Week both nationally and internationally into a distinctive, leading design manifestation for a wide range of target groups. The municipality of Eindhoven is aware of the fact that the design event is a major leverage to promote the design climate of Eindhoven, and has offered financial support.
